  1. Hafa Adai! My family and I will be at the BBQ!! We can’t wait! We need some Chamorro food in our systems! Just wanted to let you know we will be bringing sodas. What time should we bring the sodas and our appetites? My husband Berno will also be voluntold to help with the BBQ! See you then!

  2. Hi Monette,

The park is opened from 9am til 5pm. The main group will arrive at 9am to set up and start the BBQ grills. The table is scheduled to open at 12pm, when all the guests arrive and all the food is set up. So if you’d like to help out with the BBQ set up, feel free to come early or at least around 11 am to be there when the table opens. Thank you for visiting the Guam liberation website. Please help spread the word about us, to keep our islanders connected.

    Si yu’us ma’ase

  3. Hafa Adai! I am definitely going to try to make it there. My class reunion – GW 1989 – is tentatively scheduled to take place the day before, also in SD. I am working out arrangements and hope to get a confirmation soon.

  4. Just wondering what are the events planned for the day’s festivities? Is there an entrance fee to attend or to get into the park? Will it just be a big BBQ for the people from Guam & friends to reconnect? Thanks!

  5. Why didn’t anyone tell me this event? My son and I surely missed this event, especially the Chamorro Food. Next year, if we are still around in San Diego, CA, please send out invitations to all residing in San Diego, CA. Adios!
