The Guam Liberation Historical Society and the 71st Guam Liberation Executive Committee proudly presents the “71st Liberation Celebration Fireworks Spectacular” Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at the Liberation Carnival Grounds in Tiyan, Barrigada.  There will be two (2) shows.   7:00pm 71st Liberation Fireworks Family Show (Early Show) then at 10:00pm “The 71st Liberation Celebration Fireworks Spectacular” (Main Show)

The 10:00PM fireworks show will be accompanied by a musical soundtrack and can be heard by tuning in to Power 98 (KZGZ FM 97.5) that evening.

Fireworks Company:  ShowPros Pyro.  

Entertainment Schedule:

7:30PM- 10:00PM      U.S. Marine Corps Band. -III Marine Expeditionary Force Band from Okinawa, Japan.

Popular Radio Personality and Comedian “Kyle Mandapat” (Co-Host of Morning Blender/Music Director) and guests DJ’s will be live on location hosting all the fun and activities.

 

Special Events:

Guam Hawgs Motorcycle Club (GHMC), Harley Motorcycle Raffle Giveaway at 8:00pm. Tickets will be sold onsite.   $5.00 each.  Proceeds benefit the GHMC Children’s Fund.    P.O.C.  Dennis Larsen. 787-1890.

Meet and Greet with our 71st Liberation Queen Bonita Dydasco of Santa Rita and her Royal Court.

Other Activities and Specials:

$3,000 Bingo Giveaway & Raffle Prizes at the Bingo Arena,  $1 Regular Games.

$15.00 Unlimited Rides Bracelet.

 ***IMPORTANT Public Notices:  Due to the size and scope of the show to include firing locations throughout the Tiyan carnival grounds several roads will be closed starting at 3:00pm on Tuesday the 21st and will not reopen till 11:00pm that night!  For your safety, please be cautious and alert of posted signs and notices.

 *** for your safety and the safety of others, DO NOT park or block the GFD access area by the Tiyan Soccer Field. ***Trespassing Onto the secure zones ANd marked safety distances will result in the delay of the show and possible cancellation. 

***We kindly advise that all those wishing to visit the Carnival to not park at the U.S. Post Office (It is reserved for USPS Employees and Customers) or along Route 16 for your safety and the safety of your vehicle.   There is ample parking in the Carnival Grounds as well as Parking and Grounds Security.  

 ***We also advise that you do not block driveways, or stop on the roadways or impede the flow of traffic.
